I started what has come to be known as the Official Amalgimals Breeding Program during the first US lockdown of 2020. There was so much uncertainty, fear, & isolation.

I wanted to help kiddos (& adults!) to hopefully find some solace in making art (with a sense of humor) & started posting & drawing art prompts of amalgamations of different animals, & encouraging others to share their creations with me as guest posts. I named the community Amalg_imals.

Although lockdowns are behind us (one hopes!), the abominations & horrors of the Amalgimals Breeding Program continues. Because the world is still full of uncertainties & fears, but getting lost in creativity & imagination helps, & keeping our sense of humor is always needed.
